1. Wash your face. If you use a cleansing soap, be sure that it doesn't contain any harsh chemicals that could irritate your skin, like peroxyl, for instance. If you use a towel, pat, not wipe, unless you absolutely need to.

2. Apply a liquid foundation (or a powder foundation for a more natural look) that is the color of your skin tone. If it's too dark, your skin will look orange. If it's too light...well, you get the idea. Blend evenly. Apply a loose powder (again, the color of your skin tone) and blend evenly too. Nothing looks worse than unblended makeup!

3. Apply an eyelid primer if you'd like; this is optional. Apply a non-shimmery silver eyeshadow and apply it on your eyelid. Do NOT go above your eyelid crease.

4. Take a black stiletto mascara, and apply the coat. Give this at least five seconds to dry. Do this four more times, and make sure that you give your mascara time to dry. There is no black mascara on Taylor's lower lashes, but you are welcome to apply a coat.

5. Take a black cream eyeliner and very thickly apply it on your eyelid. Do not quite reach your eyelid crease, but it's supposed to be pretty darn close. Take a black pencil eyeliner, and trace around your eyes as thinly as possible, and connect it with your black cream eyeliner.

6. Take a light pink blush, and apply it on the apples of your cheeks. If you do not know where your cheeks are, smile, as this best defines them.

7. Apply a lip balm.

8. Apply a light pink lipstick. Then, take a fragment of tissue or toilet paper, and wrap your lips around that for a minimum of two seconds. This removes excess lipstick.

9. Make sure everything looks okay.

10. You're done!
