Makeup 035

1. Remove any make-up that you're already wearing and wash your face with warm water. As always, pat dry with a soft towel, avoiding scrubbing at the skin so that you don't cause any scratches or redness (this is particularly important if you have sensitive skin). Now is the right time to use a cleanser, toner, moisturiser etc, if you wish.
2. If you want to apply foundation, use something liquid-based so that you can blend it easier. The shade of the foundation should be the same as your skin tone or half a shade lighter. I don't personally like using foundation, and instead I use loose power the same shade as my skin. A really, really, REALLY great product to use is Max Factors 'Creme Puff Powder'. I borrowed it from my friend and want to buy it as soon as I can. Whatever you choose to apply at this stage, make sure you blend it well around the edges of the face and particularly the nose and mouth for a more natural finish.
3. Take a medium brown kohl pencil and scribble onto your eyelid (don't fill in the eye and don't use too much. You just need a quick scribble on your eyelid so that you have substance for the next part of this step). Then take a clean eyeshadow brush and wet it. Use the wet brush to blend the eyeliner across your eyelid and slightly upwards towards your eyebrow (follow the picture), building drama as Taylor's make-up artist has. Then take the brown kohl pencil and line the bottom eyelid sparingly. Repeat of the opposite eye.
4. Apply black mascara. When choosing mascara products, go for something with a volumising or seperating brush, as Taylor's eyelashes are amazing here. Apply as much or as little as you like, since there is already dark colour to your eyelids.
5. Apply a salmon pink matte lipstick to finish this look.
