Hair 028

1. You need clean hair to start, preferably in a kind of wavy style. If your hair isn't clean, wash it, but it isn't a great idea to wash hair directly before curling or the curls dont hold. If your parting isn't naturally like Taylor's is here, then brush your hair over into a parting starting slightly to the right of your head, just off center, and pull your bangs apart. Brush through all of your hair, and then heat up a spiral curling iron.
2. Brush out a 1-2inch section of hair and hold on tightly to the end. Pull your hair horizontally to the side of your head, then place the heated curling iron just underneath the root of the hair (avoiding burning the scalp) with your other hand. Release the clip, then wrap your hair tightly around the barrel of the spiral iron. Do not let go of the clip. Hold in place for 10 seconds and then gently unravel the section of hair. Repeat this around your head, including the bangs.
3. For the anti-flawless look that Taylor has, once your hair is fully curled, put a small dollop of mousse in the palm of one hand then rub your hands together so that there's a fairly even amount on each. From underneath your hair, shake your fingers through the hair to ruffle your curls. Then add a coat of anti-hardening hairspray and you're finished!
