Hair 027

1. Wash your hair, then blowdry straight with a paddle brush. You may want to use anti-frizz serums, styling gels, whatever. Brush through your hair thoroughly then heat up your straighteners.
2. Straighten the entirety hair in layers. Only your bangs need to be stick straight, so straighten these and style them to the left of your head, as taylor has. This is where it starts to get a little trick to explain. Lift a thin layer of hair off the top of your hair and clip it out of the way. Then, take another thin layer and backcomb it. Clip this layer in place, pushing it up slightly (see the top of Taylor's hair in the picture) then release the other layer that you clipped aside and brush it over the lifted area. Clip the top layer in place and now the hair at the top of your head should be volumised like Taylor's.
3. Pull the rest of your hair into a ponytail at the back of your head. Tie it with a covered hair elastic in place at a level above your ears. Heat up a thin curling iron and lift a one inch section of hair from the ponytail. Curl this 1-inch section and slip the hair off the curling iron and clip it in place. Repeat this with 1-inch sections until you have worked through all the hair in the ponytail.
4. Hairspray, shine spray, and you're done!
