Hair 002

1. Wash your hair, apply heat defence cream/spray and begin to blowdry your hair in sections with warm [not hot!] air and a paddle brush to avoid static.
2. When your hair is dry, plug in a medium-sized curling iron (or curling wand) and brush through your entire hair. If it's started to frizz, apply an anti frizz cream [but make sure to put as little as possible on the roots] before brushing.
3. Apply heat defence again and brush through your hair one last time to check that it's completely tangle-free. Then, take the curling iron in one hand and pull a piece of hair backwards from your face in the other. Then, clip the hair into the iron and curl upwards to the root, twisting the iron 360 degrees near the roots and then hold for 20 seconds. Twisting the roots means that the hair will curl at the roots rather than remaining flat. Release the curl, and if it springs upwards, take the end and pull it down loosely. Spray with GOOD QUALITY hairspray. Repeat this around your hair, always repeating the pattern of pull the hair backwards and curling on top of the hair.
4. At the front of your head, flip a section of hair which includes your bangs [take it from a parting a little further to the right then a center parting] over to the left side of your head. Comb it through, then take the curling iron and curl the hair tightly up to the eyebrows. Wait 20 seconds then release.
5. Spray with hairspray, and enjoy the look!
